Project Halo, was a multi-million pound TV brand campaign created to raise awareness of Sky Bet. It celebrates the uncertainty of betting and states that it’s the uncertainty that brings the excitement (when betting). It was delivered in 60“, 40” & 30“ TV Ad spots throughout October & November (mainly on Sky Sports).
I was asked to lead a scrum of 3 designers to initially develop a brand guide to form the basis of all web & print creatives. Then to utilise this guide to produce and oversee the creation of posters, beer mats, landing pages, press ads, banners, emails, direct mail & much more.
Posters & Beer Mats
A major part of the Halo campaign was to improve exposure in public places. As Public Houses are often used by Sky Bet’s customers to watch Sky Sports, it was this area that was chosen to gain this exposure.
This was realised through the creation of A3 posters and beer mats that were distributed into 800 pubs across the UK for a 3 month period.
On the basis of each of these pubs having 200 customers daily, this creative would be viewed by over 9,000,000 people.
Design Guidelines
A set of guidelines was produced & distributed to both internal & external design teams to achieve campaign consistency.
Flash Banners
Various flash banner creatives were completed. Both as part of the brand awareness push & the acquisiton of new customers across the Sky network.
Email Creative
Email templates were put together to be used for both acquiring new customers & to help nurture/retain the existing customer base.
